Job Overview
Family-owned business looking to add an experienced Purchasing Agent to our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting current procurement needs and have a strong desire to reduce cost and build a robust supply chain. Providing the correct part on time for manufacturing or delivery to the customer is critical.

The Purchasing Agent will play a critical role in executing Centranz's mission to deliver high quality products, on time and on budget, as the company continues to build capacity and expand its customer base.
Responsibilities
- Source suppliers of materials, equipment, supplies, or services and interview as necessary to determine best possible price and service guarantee.
- Research and evaluate potential new sources of supplied materials and services in order to cut costs.
- Monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery of products and relay receiving information to the production department.
- Coordinate with others to maintain inventory levels.
- Evaluate vendors based on price, reliability, capability and previous transaction history.
- Work with vendors to negotiate, price, volume and terms.
- Ensure that purchasing documents are complete and accurate and include appropriate and reasonable terms and conditions.
- Analyze and recognize opportunities for bulk buying across projects and present proposals to Senior Management for approval, including negotiation of pricing for commonly used materials.
- Track backorders, making arrangements with vendors for delivery and notifying the department manager as to the expected delivery date.
- Review daily manufacturing orders and sales orders for parts that need to be procured.
- Run weekly, monthly and quarterly ROPs by vendor.
- Plan regular meetings to address sea freight ordering.
Qualifications
- 4+ years experience procuring goods.
- Advanced interpersonal skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively and maintain credibility with customers, suppliers and across all levels in the business.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet internal and external deadlines.
- High level of organization.
- Resiliency and ability to adapt to change.
- High level of proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office (Excel) and ERP.

Job Overview
Are you someone who values precision and excels independently with minimum supervision? Do you welcome the idea of a diverse workload featuring short and long run production?
We are looking to add CNC lathe and mill machinists/operators to our first shift (8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.) and second shift (4 p.m.-2:30 a.m.). The second shift works four 10-hour shifts per week and earns a night premium. We manufacture hundreds of unique parts in our full-service machine shop using late model CNC equipment.
Requirements
- Perform own setups following setup procedures (preferred).
- Basic understanding of G-Code programming (preferred).
- Utilize measuring equipment in support of quality requirements.
- Machine parts to tolerance by observing operation and making necessary machine offset adjustments, cutter changes and self-inspection.
- Communicate any discrepancies in machining to manufacturing supervisor.
- Must possess own tools. Shop provides some specific larger mics, etc.
- Be able to read and interpret blueprints.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of CNC machining experience preferred.
- Setup and live tooling experience preferred.
- Okuma OSP and Fanuc control experience preferred.
- Must be in good physical condition. Should be able to lift at least 50 lbs. and stand most of the day.
